BronchEze: Physiologic support formula for functional bronchial difficulties.
  • Vitamins A (carotene), C and E, riboflavin, and selenium are an antioxidant team that assists the regeneration of reduced glutathione, and exerts other antioxidant effects. Antioxidant protection against oxidative stress is critical for pulmonary health (Pharmacol Res 1999;40:393-404).
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC), a precursor of the antioxidant glutathione, promotes lung health and may assist in improving general well-being in people with mild functional lung problems (Respir Med 1994;88:531-5).
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a precursor of the tripeptide glutathione - a critical antioxidant, with roles in xenobiotic detoxification and amino acid metabolism. Glutathione depletion is characteristic of many conditions of impaired health (Curr Opin Clin Nutr Metab Care 1999;2:487-92).
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) acts as a mucolytic agent and thus assists normal respiratory function. By acting as a glutathione precursor, NAC helps maintain normal immune, liver and cardiovascular function (Altern Med Rev 1998;3:114-27).
  • Horehound and licorice extracts, and thyme oil, are traditional pectorals - lung tonics - and expectorants (Culpeper’s Herbal).
