  • Vitamin E supplementation may elevate the protective, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (Isr J Med Sci 1987;23:869-72) in some individuals, and reduce the susceptibility of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol to oxidation (Arterioscler Thromb 1993;13:1779-89).
  • Chromium supplementation may have a favorable effect on blood levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, thus improving cardiovascular health. Natural sources, vegetariaan, hypoallergenic.
