Product description:
NutriGyn: Herbal formula with magnesium and B6 for premenstrual support.
  • NutraGyn combines botanicals, micronutrients, and supportive glandulars to help maintain a normal premenstrual hormonal balance.
  • Vitex agnus castus (chaste berry) helps to restore normal hormonal balance during the menstrual cycle (Arzneimittelforschung 1993;43:752-6). Double-blind trials have found Vitex effective for relieving premenstrual symptoms such as mood alteration, headache, bloating and breast fullness (BMJ 2001;20:134-7; Phytomed 1997;4:183-9).
  • Vitamin B6 has been found to relieve symptoms associated with the latter portion of the menstrual cycle in most clinical studies, according to a recent meta-analysis (BMJ 1999;318:1375-81).
  • Clinical trials have found vitamin B6 supplements helpful for diverse conditions, such as stabilizing premenstrual physiology (Br J Obstet Gynaecol 1990;97:847-52).
  • Magnesium is frequently low in women with premenstrual discomfort (Ann Clin Biochem 1986;23:667-70); supplementation has brought relief from fluid retention, weight gain, swelling of extremities, breast tenderness, and abdominal bloating (J Womens Health 1998;7:1157-65).
  • Dong quai has a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a component of women's herbal formulas (Chin Med J 1991;104:776-81).
Natural sources, hypoallergenic.
Suggested Adult Use:
One tablet, 2 - 3 times daily, at least two weeks prior to onset of menses, or as directed by the healthcare practitioner.
Note:
