Product description:
Olive Leaf: Standardized Herbal Extract supporting normal blood pressure, active against various pathogenic microbes and antioxidant.
  • Olive leaf extract (Olea europaea) helps support normal blood pressure (J Pharm Belg 1996;51:69-71).
  • Olive leaf extract's constituents combine synergistically as potent antioxidants with greater activity than vitamin C and E; in addition, its components oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol have shown a broad antimicrobial action against viruses, retroviruses, bacteria, yeasts, fungi, molds and parasites in vitro (Food Chem 2000;68:457-62).
  • Clinical trials clearly show olive leaf extracts to be orally bioavailable (J Nutr 2002;132:409-17).
  • Animal studies have confirmed olive leaf extract's reduction of tissue injuries (J Pharm Pharmcol 1999;51:1305-12) and the hypoglycemic activity of its constituent oleuropeoside (Planta Med 1992;58:513-5).

Suggested Adult Use:
